Side Hustles

In my free time I create inclusive experiences for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Dyke Live

Beginning inthe fall of 2020, I ran a bi-weekly instagram live dating show for themself. Each episode I invite three queers to go on a live speed date with me. Afterwards the audience votes on the most eligible bachelorex and that person gets a gift in the mail. Above is an episode where I invited three long time crushes onto the show.

Since Covid we have all been craving connection, intimacy, embarrassment, any kind of social thrill. The purpose of Dyke Live is recreate sensation of controlled risk one feels when approaching someone at a dyke bar. For myself, my dates and the audience living vicariously through us.

Lesbian Matters

I was the head of Social Media Marketing for Phoenix Lindsey-Hall's art show Lesbian Matters in collaboration with the Lesbian Herstory Archives. We gathered objects owned by queer and lesbian identifying people to create an image of modern day lesbian experience. I assisted her in collecting and curating over 100 submissions. Over 200 people attended the opening and it was featured in VICE US.

gay.ze

in 2019 I created a collection of nail decals for people with short nails designed by 23 LGBTQIA+ artists across four continents. I created the surrounding branding, marketing, creative direction, packaging, web and social content. They were sold at the Brooklyn Museum during their exhibit “Nobody Promised You Tomorrow”

Automic Gold

While the head of Creative and Event Coordination Automic Gold I organized two events; the larger of which was the Post Corporation Rehabilitation. PCR was scheduled after pride to encourage people to continue to support the LGBTQIA+ community after June.

I managed the budget, reached out to collaborators and created the branding around the event.
